There should be a marking on the plastic of the capacitor that indicates the negative leg.  Ground the leg on the side with the minus sign markings.  Connect the caps other connection to terminal 30 along with the yellow wire of the radio..  No need for a diode, the relay isolates the power supplies from each other.
