I'm looking at having an Avital 4103 remote start put in an 02 Grand Caravan that has the "Gray Keys".
So, in purchasing the Avital 4103 I guess I'll also need a bypass unit?
If so can you recommend a model and vendor?
FYI, I have been using an Avital 4103 in my 05 Silverado for a few years and it has been fantastic. Super range and through buildings such as while at the checkout counter at the Grocery store.

Thanks,
About the park lights resistors? I planned to have no horn chirp or lights flashing be enabled. Its a surveillance vehicle.
So....... are resistors in the material list still required?

Agree with chev104275.  iDatalink bypass is the way to go.  The ADS DL with the ADS DL CH6 firmware is slightly less expensive and works well.

If you don't want the Parking lights to flash, no relay or 2k ohm resister is needed.  You will still need a relay and a 180 ohm resister for the cars PURPLE / Brown MUX start wire.

Soldering is fun!
