I just bought an Alpine ida-x305s. Thought I could hook it up myself so I match all the colors on the harness and I had a pink wire (audio interrupt in ) and blue (remote turn on) left. So I installed it now the radio works and i hear sound but when I plug in my iphone the album cover and the volume comes on the screen and its playing but I do not hear any music. I was wondering if anyone might have a suggestion to get some sound coming out. Im pretty sure its something simple like a a crossed wire.

Thanks

I would have to guess that you have a blue/white left over.  You have connected the blue wire as your amp turn on wire.  Blue is the power antenna control wire.  The blue wire is only hot when the tuner is on.

Disconnect the radio's blue wire and replace it with the blue/white wire.
