I have a 2002 Grand Caravan Sport. It has 6 speakers and a tweeter looking thing on the rear post.
First - Is there a Sub woofer in this thing some place? Man it sure sounds like it. What kind or size and where is it located.
I just installed a DEH-P5200HD head unit and its associated XM box. It had a JVC deck from 2003. What an improvement!
It is not the Infinity speaker system (no infinity logos anywhere) but man it sure sounds MUCH better. Even the Bass is clean and fairly tight. This Pioneer is killer.
What I want to know is how much trouble is it to change the speakers? It seems like when you start ripping panels off they never go back the same or as tight.
Can I get a general pain in the A description? The dash looks like a real pain.
Thanks

No Factory Sub

Do not rip your panels off. Instead, properly remove them( with kid gloves) and they should go back on with no problems.

Here is how to remove your radio:

STEP 1. Begin by removing the small trim strip that is directly

above the pullout cup holder.  Pull out the cup

holder. Using a hook tool, gently pull out on the trim strip,

releasing two (2) retainer clips. Set the trim strip aside.

STEP 2. Behind the small trim strip are four (4) Phillips screws.

Remove the center two (2) screws and set aside. Next, remove the

bezel around the radio and vent module by releasing six (6) retainer

clips. Insert a hook tool behind the lower right corner of the bezel,

above the removed screws. Pull out gently on the hook tool,

releasing a retainer clip. Repeat on the lower left side. Working

your way up the bezel, release one (1) clip middle right and one (1)

clip middle left, and lastly two(2) clips at the top.

Thanks, I already added the receiver.
Its the speaker panels and dash speakers that have me pondering.
