Hi,
is there an easy way to wire in the camera on the number plate of a 2010 dodge caravan? The camera kit says to place the camera above the number plate and wire the camera to the backup/reverse lights, how do you do that with a number plate in the middle of the hatchback?
Thanks Paul
Have a great day.

Here's the Factory Install guide for the cameras installed aftermarket at the dealer (or elsewhere). You should find it very useful.

Hi,
    Thanks for the great info.
I have a Behindsight camera from Canadian Tire. the instructions say the camera easily mounts to the license plate, which it does, but is there a quick camera power connect in the lift up tail gate, or do I have to pull wiring to the reverse light on either side panel light assembly (which the instructions suggest)?
My guess is I would have to pull off all the trim on the tailgate and inside the van to the light assembly to power the camera.
The PDF really helps show what to do.
Thanks for the help.
Paul

You have to run all your wires up to the monitor up front anyhow so might as well follow the instructions I posted.
It shows where to get power and which wire is the Reverse wire. It doesn't look like much fun but at least its fairly well documented. Reminds me of IKEA instructions, all pics and no words. haha.
Enjoy.

Hi,
Thanks for all your info; it looks like an all day weekend job for me.
Just wondering where you get the type of information you posted?
Thanks again.
