500K would definitely do it, but 50K should be more than adequate :)

So would a 1.0 or 1.2 or 1.2 farad be too much? This is what was recommended on a MINI forum.

Sometime grounding the sheild of one of your RCA's will work.
If it's not custom, then it's not you.
