500K would definitely do it, but 50K should be more than adequate :)

So would a 1.0 or 1.2 or 1.2 farad be too much? This is what was recommended on a MINI forum.

If you can fit it and want to buy it, go for it. It should definitely filter out the ripple.

Sometime grounding the sheild of one of your RCA's will work.

If it's not custom, then it's not you.
