you need to isolate door triggers from the bcm.when the bcm goes to sleep, it sends pulses out that can set off the alarm.

go to downloads and search gm door triggers

My first guess for BCM would be Body Control Module...

BCM does mean Body Control Module.   The BCM  consumes alot of current when it's "awake",  Thats the reason it "goes to sleep" after a certain period of time, when it's not needed (car is parked).

You NEED to do the diode isolation on those triggers.   This technique is used on a few different types of cars,  all for the same reason.

Dodge started this "checking the domelight" on their vans somewhere back around '86-'87 and drove installers crazy.

Wow i appreciate this help so much it just went off again this morning. So what i have to do is open the door arm it of course its go say door open unarm it then shut the door then arm it and its good for lawd knows how long probably another 10 hours or so. but do you know exactly how long it will take for it to go to sleep ? cuz with the viper system it said if u haven't touch the alarm in 72 hours the remote goes to sleep like it won't receieve signal until u press a button.

Cant tell exactly how long it will take to go to sleep.  10-15 minutes most times.  But it depends if the BCM is sensing a draw.

You need DEI 1076 to cure this. Should be on this site. Yes we have this problem in the UK mainly the Ford GEM module but also BCM on some VWs which luckily for you aren't available in the US.

you can also add a 1k resistor from you negative door triger of the 5901 to 12+ this will eliminate the pules sended by the BCM
