I have this alarm in my 04 Sonata and not too long after I got it my LED stopped flashing in the car when armed, I think my daughter got a hold of the remote and started puching buttons.

Does anybody know how to program this so the LED will flash when armed?

if it was in valet mode the LED would be on constantly....

have you verified that the vehicle is indeed arming? doors locking?     could be it's not even arming the unit (accidently switched to car 2 or keypad lock on, etc)

if it is, then i would look at the plugs on the brain to see if it has a separate plug for the LED and switch (small 2 pin blue and white plugs)... verify the white plug with the pink wire is plugged in... this should be for the LED.....

did all that, and everything seems to be plugged in, the LED is part of the antenna/over ride button which is stuck on the inside of the windshield.

and when you hit lock the doors lock? if the small white plug for the LED is plugged into the brain, that would only really leave a bum LED......

the first models had a three piece ant cable... ant and 2 small plugs for the LED and Switch (which were built into the antenna)
