which way do you guys face ur subs for more bass? i have a kicker l5 12" faced towards the back but idk how it would sound going up or firing towards me...

That wood depend on a lot of things.( your box,amp.,wires,head unit) I have a 91 with 2 800w 12" subs in a ported box with a sony xplod amp (xm-2165gtx) and it is facing me. It has good sound to it.This way i can put the seat down and roll the windos down in the back to be louded or leve them up and be not as lound.

i would not recommend facing the subs toward the front of the vehicle. facing them toward the rear is perfectly fine. i was running 4 RF power hx2's back in the day and because of enclosure dimensions i faced them toward the roof and it sounded great.
