I'll be building a ported enclosure for two Kicker CVR12's, I need a design that has been used before for these subwoofers and it has to sound good and loud, and close to the 2.25 volume stated in the manual.

What do you think this is UNICEF!!! or better yet FEMA . Do your own math, design and so on, then post it and we can give you the pros and cons of it. You will feel much better about it in the end as well because you'll know you've designed , calculated and built the enclosure specifically for your needs. There are plenty of tools on this site to help you out including calculators and how to's .We also dont have a crystal ball to see what kind of vehicle you have, how much space your willing to sacrifice,What kind of design you need etc etc.IF you need help we are all here to guide you along the way, but your wanting us to do the work for you really chaps my hide.We all have things to do as well so take that into consideration.

I figured someone would respond in this manner.
Anyway, I tried drawing up a design using Kicker's recommended dimensions, but I have a couple questions. Kicker recommends a port that is 20.5 inches long, can I make it go around the back so the box isn't so deep? Kicker recommends a box that is 2.25ft^3, is that with or without the port's volume? Can I use the box's wall as on side of the port, or does it have to have two individual boards?

here is an idea of what the top view of the box could look like with each speaker having its own port.

Check out This tech sheet from kicker. Nice graphical layout of the expected output based on the ported design. Look it over and decide what will work for you.

First off, it's a Kicker. "Sound good" and "Kicker" are contradictions in terms...
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
