sirius ks sra100 wiring

i have a jvc ks-sra100 sirius satellite interface with a sc-c1 tuner. my problem is a friend of mine was using it and lost my power cord, i don't mind making one but i don't no what pin is power and what is ground. it has a 4 pin plug but only used a yellow hot and black ground. if someone could help me out with which pin is which i would greatly appreciate it

If I could find the freaking power cable I would buy it ok? I not stupid I looked and could not find one. If someone knows where to buy them then please let me no. Jvc does not sell them nor does sirius

yes i was being a smart @ss lol. can't find a power cable and can't afford to buy a new unit right now

If you have a multimeter or access to one, I can help you figure out which pin is power and which is ground. 

i do have a multi meter i would greatly appreciate any help

Set the meter to the diode test function.  There should be one pin of the plug that is common with the chassis of the box, this pin is ground.  Black meter lead on ground, then touch the red lead to each of the 3 remaining pins, (one at a time) and notice the reading of each of the 3.  Now place the red lead to the ground pin and touch the black lead to the 3 remaining pins.  There will be on pin that had a reading from 350 to 650 with the leads one way and a much higher reading with the leads the other way.  This wire will be the power wire.  If there is a fuse mounted to the device, the fuse will be common with the power wire as well.

Before you do something to the plug on the device, go to your local stereo shop and ask the installers if they have a plug that will plug into your unit.  Explain to them that you do not care what color the wires are on their plug.  There are several amplifiers that use that plug for high level input.  They may have one or 2 laying around.
