Ok that didn't work but i failed to give you all the info so my fault. I also need to supply 12volts to the wire that runs to the radio. This wire is attached to my reverse light and sends 12 volts letting the radio know the vehicle is in reverse. So I need to get 12vokts from the switch to this wire and the camera without the truck being in reverse or the reverse lights on. Thanks.

Obvious I would have thought, camera 12V= (i.e. rev light feed) to head unit switched input.

Ok maybe we are both misunderstanding each other. I'm sorry lol. I need 12volts to goto the camera and the purple wire from the headunit when the switch is on and not in reverse. I also need 12 volts to goto the camera and purple wire while the reverse lights are on and the switch is off.

You really are confusing the both of us now.
You need a 12 volt trigger to turn the head unit input to the camera setting, fine the point where the switch output 12volt joins the camera, bring that back to the head unit. This is really too simple to carry on like this.

Connect the head unit feed to position 30 on the relay I mentioned!
