Hi all good people.
I am new to the forum, after a search I decided to make a new topic.
The case is that I inherrited a 2001 Ford Focus SE (american model). The car have been imported to Norway.
To be able to register the car and get norwegian numberplates I need to change the amber parkinglights to white ones. It is not allowed to have anything else than white lights in the front part of the car by norwegian law.
This mean I have to disconnect the constant amber light, but keep the blinkers somehow. Then connect the cable to a 5v bulb inside of the headlight.
Does anyone know wich cables to cut and wich to keep? And also will the blinker still work if I cut a cable? There is 3 cables into the amber light now.
Forgive my english...
At least I understand something as long as I understand that I don't understand a thing...

Is it an amber bulb or an amber lens?

Check the rear (parking) lights.
Chances are they will have the same color code as the front.
But you have to check both else opposite sides (eg, front-right & rear-left) to tell parkers from indicators/flashers/stop).
And you mean 5W headlight lamps - 5V might confuse others. (The missing Norvegan letter eh?)
