Hey guys I just installed a Viper 5900 alarm system in my 01 Mazda Miata except I'm having a few issues. Nothing responds! lol.
I have +12 volts going to the constant 12v input on the alarm, and ground is also connected to the brain, both confirmed with a multimeter.
Door switch is connected, brakeshutdown switch is connected, power locks are connected, status led and the valet switch are also connected.
What's not making any sense is that NOTHING works? The led doesn't do a single thing, the valet switch doesn't do anything either. Pushing any buttons on my transponder doesn't make any noises or anything. Alarm doesn't arm/disarm or anything?
I have the dash off the car so getting to everything is a cake walk, and I'm using a fluke multimeter and the alarm is definitely getting it's power/grounds! Any ideas? Maybe the remote isn't programmed to this brain?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
The siren also makes zero noise, and is connected to the alarm as well.

Have you tried programming the remote? Is The antenna plugged in?

+1 on the antenna not being plugged in!  Did you power up the other 12V+ constant inputs.  (RED / white and i believe RED / black as well).
