I am trying to install a DEI 529T in my 98 Honda Accord so that when arming the system it will close the sunroof, but would like the ability to open it when the Viper 5701 Alarm is on. Thanks in advance for everyone's help. This site is such a great resource thanks to you guys!!
Thanks,
Ed

Use a DEI 530T, it would work much better for this application than the 529.

You could use either, reconfigure a 529t is my way but there's an alternative.
some Hondas used 2 relays (one open, one closing)and a NEG going switch.
Just find the ignition control wire going to each relay (I believe it's GREEN/ YELLOW) and make it 12v+ constant, probably a WHITE/ something feeding the relays and then ground the switch one or other of its outputs using aux outputs from the alarm, normal to open and timed at 4-6 secs to close. If the roof has a child trap you would need to leave both outputs as pulsed and hold the closing output. Total cost, 20 mins check, set up and wiring.
