As long as your amp is stable to whatever load you wire it to it should be fine. You'd get better sound if your front and rear speakers were the same. It helps you you provide specifics. For example, I have a JL HD600.4 (150wX4) powering two pairs of C5-650x 6.5" speakers. I have two 10" DVC (4 ohms each) subs. Know the specs makes it easier to know what your amp can do with the speakers you have.
