I was wondering if the DEI 4 pin sensor harness/plugs are available anywhere without buying the sensor itself? I have Googled and checked ebay so I am guessing not. Note I am in the UK. Many thanks :)

you'll love this one...

for one of my 508d sensors, i just lopped off a floppy drive power plug from a broken PC power supply. then dremeled off what ever plastic ribs were in the way. cut the wires short and soldered new "correct" colored wires onto them. them shrink tubed over the solder joint making sure to cover the old wire color at the same time.

Funny, I've used a DEI plug and treated it just like you did in reverse to fit universal garage door opener we took from a Cayenne and installed to a BMW!
Most Clifford/Viper dealers and installers in the UK have dozens of these plugs left over, just visit your local dealer.

Will give a dealer a try, just hope I don't get the "only authorised dealers can fit" response :)
