Would a mono block class X amp with a THD rating of 1.0% at 1 ohm be a problem for my subs. I have a pair of L5 and I want to know would this amp cause my subs harm with a THD rating like that?
The amp in question is the clifDesign CDX 10A.

Well i dont know if it would hurt anything but man thats a high rating, would think it would have an awful sound quality to it if anything.

Don't think it would cause harm, but not recommended for SQ, but might work for SPL.

Most Class D amps run high % THD when in 2 ohms. This is common and should not be a problem even for SQ.

I kind of figured that it wouldn't be that big of a deal because its a sub amp anyway, but I just wanted to make sure. Usually I see sub amps with a .5% THD but never with a 1%THD though.
Thanks guys for the clear up on this
