First off, my car is a 1990 Acura Integra, with a Viper 5900 2-way alarm, and DEI 516U Talking Module. Everything works as it should.
I just installed the 508D Proximity sensor, and I've run into a problem. When I arm the system normally, and trigger the "warn" stage, My talking module does its thing, while the siren chirps several times, after the siren is done chirping, the full alarm goes off. This should not be happening as the "second stage" is never triggered [verified by LED]
BUT, when I arm the alarm using silent mode (Aux + Arm), and trigger the "warn" stage, the talking module does its thing and all is well, no siren chirps or full out alarm (as seen here)
How do I fix this problem?

Is the 516 or 508D diode isolated from each other if connected to the same wire circuit?? Do you have the 508D plugged into the mux port of the brain or is it hard wired along with the 516?
