04 350z alarm, remote start

here is were im at now i have taken out a viper 791xv and have put in a viper 5901 and all is well but the remote start will not work with the 791 i had to bypass the clutch and i have a 556U key im in place any ideas ?

or dose some one have a more detailed install diagram or how to for the 5901 viper and a 350z

after i first installed the 5901 the alarm works :) the door lock unlock works :) and the truck release works :) and when i tried the remote start i got an error on the remote and the lights flashed 7 times :( i then chnged it to auto and i can here the fuel pump activate but no start and error

Just leave the ignition key in, then try a remote start and let us know what happens.

you need to check all your wires try starting with the key first and probing the wires and then the remote starter I am not sure but there could be a second start wire

There nearly always is on Nissans, except this one uses a Renault engine, worth checking though there was already a 791 in this car.
Have you programmed tach and checked the R/S outputs? Also is it pulsing the lights with fault code also have you reprogrammed it for auto if you have an auto transmission?

i got it all i had to do is use the 2nd starter and change to auto trans and boom :)
