Hey guys, Quick question. Just bought a 2010 chevy traverse, and was wondering if anyone knows off hand if the factory remoe start is supposed to turn on the heating and /or air conditionong. I have tried many times, leaving the heater fan control in the on position, but it never does come on. Even though this model did not come with the dual automatic climate control, it just seems funny the fan does not come on when remlote started. have not called the dealer yet and the user manual is somewhat unclear.

Any insight or help would b greatly appreciated

I don't think so.
I had to do this for a friend's 2010 Chevy Malibu.
How comfortable are you soldering?

When the engine comes up to temperature you should get heat.  The OEM RS will run the heater, but not until the engines warm enuff to.
