Hi,

i am trying to put in a hidden kill switch that needs to be tripped before my car can be started. kind of a safely feature so it's harder to steal my car.  do you guys have any ideas? i was thinking about adding a switch to my fuel pump. is that the best way to go?

You can attach a kill switch to the cigarette lighter that will disable the fuel pump. Make sure you have a back up though in case your battery dies or something else fails Hidden kill switch -- posted image.

That picture I want to see, too. heh I like that idea..
It occurs to me that if I re-wired the lighter plug so that it's N/O, and only closed when the plug is inserted, it'd be quite the stealthy way to disable the starter relay. LOL I like this idea... particularly since I don't use that accessory plug anyway.

you can put a switch on anything really. like the locks, power mirror, defroster, for loghts ect.... any switch in the car can feed a relay thats all you need to do . just hold any of the buttons down while you start it and it will work fine be creative>???

I have hidden a switch in my steering column pressed by pulling the tilt lever. I used to use it for a kill switch, but I replaced it with a posh on/off for my neon lights. I REALLY like your idea VELOCITY... never thought of it. In my monte I used my remote turn-on lead form my head unit, so the car wouldn't start without the face attached, but got tired of taking the damned thing off and carrying it around. Gotta love novelty!
