(If this topic is covered elsewhere, I have yet to find it).

1993 Prelude, rear facing JL 12w7 - JL 1000/1, sealed factory spec. custom enclosure.

The box is perfect as far as JL Audio is concerned. Yet no matter what sub / box config. I put back there, I feel like I'm battling airspace. I've heard vague descriptions of calculating box size not only to sub specs, but also to trunk size. Nothing I've ever been able to actually research though.

If there is a way (calculation) to match my box to my trunk space,  I'd really like to know it. If not, and there is someone out there who's familiar with my trunk, I'll be more than happy to list trunk measurements in the next post.                                     Thank you.

Fine the employers.

If you think of your car's trunk as a bandpass box ................................

Hmmm. This isn't the first time I've overcomplicated things. Thanks Ispkr.
