This is a great place for information! My question is: Is it possible to run DC Current devices through AC Current toggle switches? If so, what do I look for? I use a lot of toggle switches and can find the AC units in bulk but not DC units...Thanks for any help!

AC switches will work just fine for DC applications. I am unsure what types of switches you are using though that you are unable to find DC applications in bulk. Check out www.surpluscenter.com , they have a bunch of switches and some of them might be what you are looking for. Hope this helps.

I have access to many Carling Switches which is a single throw on/off switch with 2 wires...The Carling switch interupts the power flow by running in-line with the power wire of the item it is turning on and off. Thanks so much!!

Carling is my switch of choice as well they take the abuse and keep on tickin'. FYI- the website I named has REAL cheap 12 volt 25-30amp relays, I recently paid $1.89 each.

I am in the sign industry which is how I was introduced to the Carling Switches...They really are fantastic pieces! I have been searching the net for bulk amounts of DC switches, and have found some, but I really like using PAYPAL to buy things online and because of this I haven't been able to have much success...The site you are talking about sounds like my kind of place! I wil be checking it out shortly! Thanks again!
