Hello,
I was wondering if anybody would have a suggestion on what I should use for speakers in a 2way active setup in the front doors of a 2002 Honda Civic. I'm not running any rear speakers or a sub, just the front.
The headunit I'm going to use is an Alpine CDA-9887 in 3-way mode (http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/cda-9887/) , and the amp is an Alpine MRP-F300 (http://www.alpine-usa.com/product/view/mrp-f300).
The speaker hole size in the door is 6.5", and it would be nice to find a tweeter that has a cover that i can paint the interior color and flush mount to the door panel, or something CO-AX. It would also be nice to keep it below $100.
I was considering using these (http://www.parts-express.com/pe/show...number=267-271), and bypassing the passive crossovers mounted to the back. Then I thought i'd run it by you guys to see if you'd have a better option.
Thanks, any suggestions would be helpful.

I couldn't pull up your link, but you could try some Type-S components.   They are 89.99 from SonicElectronix. (I think)
MECP Advanced
Make your life easier and buy a DMM.

I'm not sure why that link abbreviated itself, but I was considering these http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=267-271

Those Pioneer D-Series that you posted aren't a bad option. I'd be more inclined to go with a component setup, but it's whatever you want, man. In the end, it's all about what you're happy with.
