Hello,

I just needed someone knowledgeable to help me out.  I have a 98' Nissan Altima.

I have this sub: Kicker 15' L5 @4ohms.  RMS at 750watts.

Would this amp work with it?  My friend said something about bridging channels I think, not really sure what that means.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0032FOKUG/ref=ord_cart_shr?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER
Here are the stats for the amp:
- Two-channel Phantom amplifier with MOSFET power supply and trimode operation
- Delivers 800 Watts x 2 at 2 ohms; 260 Watts x 2 at 4 ohms; 1600 Watts bridged

Is there a better amp I could get for the sub that's under $150?

Thanks for all the help,

-SlySniper

under 150 it pushing it for an amp thats gonna give you about 800 watts @ 2 ohms. not trying to knock on you personally but it would have to be a pretty cheap amp so you may as well get the boss amp if that is your budget. either way, as long as you have some sort of amp and a good box you should be happy. and i want to emphasize, a good box will do more for your sound (loudness or clarity) that any amp.

This amp is perfectly matched to run your L7. Spend a little more and get a more quality setup. Boss amps aren't exactly known for taking a lot of abuse. You'd probably get about a year or so out of it before you'd have to replace it.

Ok, sweet.  I actually have an employee accomodation and I can get the 10ZX7501 for a lot cheaper.  I checked the stats on them and it's pretty much the same.  Would that be ok?

It's the same thing... just this year's model. So yeah get it on that accommodation. Kicker ships quick too. I got my stuff within two days.
