Last night i was about to leave, turned on my astrostart in my 2006 audi a3 (not sure what model, says 2W on the fob) and came outside and it wasnt running. I tried to turn the auto start on again and all it did was click, got in the car tried to start it with the key and all it would do is turn over and not start. I found the dip switches and tried doing a #7 reset but that wont work. Is there a dip switch order to turn the anti theft system off?

On the brain, (wich you need to find and identify to us for help) there is an led. when attempting a remote start it will flash a number of times AFTER it fails to start. The # of flashes it gives pertains to a fail code. Get this number and I can tell you why its not starting.

To disable the anti theft on most astros, put dips# 1, and 2 up, hit the foot brake, put them down hit the foot brake.

Okay, i tried the dip switches and no dice. It blinked 19 times after a failed start.
