I have a viper 5902 alarm system with a DEI proximity sensor installed as well, everything seems to work fine but on the HD remote when the proximity sensor is warned or full trigger i get a SENSOR WARN AWAY or a SENSOR TRIGGER Status on remote... But in the Remotes demo mode it clearly shows a Proximity sensor warn and a proximity sensor triger on the HD screen that is totally diffrent than just the Senor Warn Away. Is it possible it was pluged into the wrong slot on the alarm brain??? Please help any advice would be much appreciated it is bugging me Thanks.

You have to program the unit to suit the sensor.

Thanks for all your info and time i have made an appointment with my local Best Buy for programing of the brain with the 508D via bit writer. I did the install of sensor myself since its plug and play with the 5902 brain, now all that is needed is programing the brain to sensor thanks again!
