I have an alarm/remote starter installed in my truck and want to add the DEI 520T back up battery. I dont have a siren hooked up....just the factory horn. Will the 520T still make the alarm go off with just the factory horn?

Thanks.

Chances are..probably not. Sounds like the horn relies on its power from the car battery...and the only purpose the alarm serves is to trigger horn. The backup battery would only supply the alarm brain. Otherwise, the 520t is a waste of money honestly. They don't hold a charge and last maybe 6 months if you're lucky.
