I have a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer LS, Clifford 50.7x alarm, with the GMDLBP bypass module for door locks and such...
With the Clifford set to a single unlock pulse, the remote start doesnt work properly. So I set the Clifford to a double lock pulse. This fixes all of my remote start issues.
However, the GMDLBP makes the horn honk when the doors get locked twice or double pulsed. I personally hate this since I whenever I try to silently arm the alarm, the siren doesnt chirp but the horn still honks one time to notify the alarm has been armed or the doors have been locked twice.
My question is: Is there anyway to make the GMDLBP not honk the horn when you double pulse the door locks?

That's part of the car, not the module.
If you have the buttons on the steering wheel, go through the settings in there and you should be able to turn the honks off.
If you don't have the buttons, I don't know how you disable the honks...look through the car's owner's manual.
If all else fails, and I never tried this, but I believe you don't get the honks if the ignition is on, right? In that case, you could have the Clifford unit trigger a relay, to pulse the car's ignition wire on lock and unlock. Not sure if that'll do it but you could try.

You are right! Thank you for the reply!
What I'm trying to change is called "remote lock feedback" but I don't have a DIC. Mine is a LS model and doesn't have this. In my user manual it doesn't say how to change this option.

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
