found my brake wire (GREEN / WHITE +) however this wire REST at 12 then drops to about 1 when i press the brake.  ive fished around and this is the only wire (even picked it up on the harness to the rear and that wire is doing the same thing.   anyone have any suggestions im stumped.

BTW this car is very TIGHT under the steering column!!!!!

i did one of these a while ago. Never had any problems.

Are you using your dmm right? black to ground, red to brake wire. will read 12v when pressed.

When i did this car, i never went to the brake petal, i went to the fuse box, and in a grey 18pin plug was the brake light wire GREEN / WHITE (+)

brain fart tedmond.  hahaha  Now that i think about it, i did have the dmm backwards.    Did you use the yellow as the ign 2 (to stay on during remote start and the WHITE/ red as the accessory?   for the trunk release is there both a + (WHITE/ black) and -  (pink/blue) in the passenger side kick?
