Hello, I will be installing a viper 5501 into my wifes mazda 3 automatic, what bypass should i use for the most features and price? Also what else will I need? I've only ever installed 2 other remote starts before, but I'm guessing I'll need, a few relays and wire along with the bypass and I should be good, correct?
Also, do the doors lock/unlock with the factory arm/disarm wires, I was told they might, if they do is there any need to connect the wires from the brain to relays to the single (-) wire for the locks with resistors? If I connect the arm/disarm wires will that be all I need then?
Thanks
Andrew

ok so i think i narrowed it down to the PKALL, it should interface directly with D2D on the 5501.... please correct me if i'm wrong...
Is there somewhere I can take the pkall to update the firmware or will the firmware thats on it work fine?
Last but not least, has anyone installed into a 2007 mazda 3 and can reccomend a good spot to locate the 5501 brain and pkall??
