I know this has been put in here somewhere. I just installed a remote on a 2009 Aveo, problem is that the car starts runs for a few seconds and dies--does this 3 times. I used the Pkuaveo for a interface module--but I dont think this car even has a security on it--I see no lights on the dash. All help is appreciated. Used a bulldog rs85p as the remote starter. Can someone tell me why it would start and die ?
Thanks, Kim

could be a tach issue... usually you would know if it has factory anti-theft by whether it has a transponder ring arond the ign switch.... unless it's a passlock style system...

The starter is a bulldog rs85p, but I am using the pkuaveo module for bypass. As long as the pkuaveo control is plugged in the car will start( not stay running ) However if I try to remote start the car with the key in the ignition, it will not. I dont think this car has a transponder, if it did wouldn't it start with the key in the ignition? Connections from remote are 12+ to car , Ground to car , yellow/ black  from 12 pin harness of remote to black ground when running of pkuaveo. White ignition wire from remote to orange wire in car are switch, WHITE/ Black acc wire from remote to lt blue acc wire in car. RED / black wire in ign  vdata on car connected to blue wire on Pkuaveo and the white wire from the pkuaveo to the brown referece wire in car ign.red wire pkuaveo 12+

Only other conections are the hood pin switch, the brake switch and the blue wire from the 12 pin harness on remote using a relay to the door lock wire on the car in kick pannel for remote start using factory remote. Oh and the RED / black wire on the remote to the disarm in the kick pannel. I didn't hook up the starter wire from the remote to anything but didn't think I had to since it remote starts without it. I am soooooo lost on this one--lol

Thanks, Kim
