even if the parking brake is showing constant ground. (which you should fix with that switch) you hitting the brake pedal should not chirp the horn and put the unit into its reservation mode. that is a sequence of events that should be required. are you on the 12 volt side of the brake pedal switch. only 12 volts when the brake pedal is depressed?

well the PARK BRAKE is the one constantly showing a ground.. so when I pressed the driver brake it was trying to go into the reservation mode to remote start for manual trans.  So the module actually thought I was parked.  I took the switch and cleaned it, and made sure I had good connections and That solved my week of headaches with this  Remote Start install! thanks everyone for all the suggestions and input!

good job. sometimes the simplest thing derails all else. had a friend with gremlins for a year in his denali. checked the ground wire at block....it had arced so much that the cable was loose at the block and the bolt was almost in half. congrats
