Hello,

Does anyone know if Astrostart used to have a seperate security module for their command start systems?  I have an astrostart system from around 1998-2000 (with no manuals) and it has 8 DIP switches on it that program the command start.  It also has a smaller black box attached to the larger module but I dont believe it has any switches on it.  I think they used to call this the VSS 100 module.  I am trying to track down a programming manual for this.  Someone on this forum was nice enough to email me one but it has 9 DIP switches so I believe it goes to newer model than mine (the 3106 system).  Any help/direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

On the back of the main unit ( the one with 8 switches) what is the part or model #.

Yes the vss (vehicle security system) is the second box! Identify the main unit and pm me the info with your email address.
