I am installing a remote start into a 2009 Jeep Grande Cherokee using a Fortin EVO-CHR-T1 bypass module. the module instructions show it being connected directly to the remote start. Does this mean that the wires we normally tap into the vehicles ignition system are all done through the module thus eliminating the cutting into of ignition/tach wires etc?

Thanks in advance for the info

as shown in the instructions;
assuming you are using the correct t-harness (page 2), the only connections besides the ones done through the t-harness are battery, ground and parking light. page 5 shows the connections between the module and the remote start when not using the data-link wiring configuration.

This unit show the remote start being connected directly to it with the started/door wires etc. Does that mean the remote start only needs to be attached to the interface bypass module and all the splicing we used to do into the cars wiring is no longer required?

Thanks in advance
