Sometimes my alarm will not disarm. I don't know what the problem is. Could it be that I need a better reception or is it the alarm? Any help or suggestions would be great.

The Concept 600 should have an external antenna that you can install on the windshield, etc.  Do not install this antenna in the headliner, as it will decrease the range of your remote.

Remember, if your alarm chirps in a very low tone when disarming, this means your battery is low in your remote.

I do have the antenna in the windshield. How/where can I put the antenna to get a better range.

What's your range now?  You should get 100 feet of range at this point.

Your antenna could be damaged/broken.  Be sure to route the antenna wiring away from sharp corners, and do not bend the antenna at more than a 90deg angle around turns.

I routed my antenna from the side of the windshield to the middle of the top of the windshield. Do you think this is why I am getting poor range?

What is your current range?  What was your range of the remote before re-routing?

Hard to determine if the change in location of the antenna is working for you, unless you test before and after a modification.
