So I bought the iDatalink ads-al ca and the guy is trying to program it but can't because the 09 accent is a USA version not Canadian.
Anyone point me in right direction here please??

U.S. market Accents may not even have a transponder.  You are following the iDatalink ADS AL(TB) HK2 install guide for Type 1.  Is there a Blue/Black wire at Pin15?  I checked a 2011 Sonata ( U.S. market ) it had no transponder and there was no wire at the connector shown in the iDatalink guide.  I believe iDatalink Tech Support has Saturday hours during the remote start season...
Soldering is fun!
