99 acura 3.5rl 871xp rm w/ 555d bypass

I recently had my Python 871XP remotestart alarm with the 555D immobilizer bypass module installed on my 1999 Acura 3.5RL recently. When I try to remotestart the car it cranks but does not start. it doesn't matter if the key is inside the car near the ignition cylinder (but not in the ignition) or anywhere away from the car, its the same result. Another thing is it cranks slightly faster than it normally would if I started the car by using the key. Turbo/Short Run work perfectly fine and so does the rest of the alarm. The only times remotestart has worked are right after the car has just been turned off after running. Should engine checking be on or off? Should engine checking be set to tach or voltage? should the crank time be set to 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.6, 1.8, 2.0, 4.0? Should the voltage check be set to high or low? Any and all suggestions and help is appreciated.

The tach wire should be hooked up and programmed. Tach is more reliable. You shouldnt have to mess with crank time or anything if you use tach.

Should the Tach threshold jumper be set to on or off?

the tach threshold is not on and off its high or low, just leave it as is.Ted

turns out to be a problem with the bypass, it wont learn the key i guess, my install guy said i should get the 556u...

is it possible its not working because i only have one key?

that bypass should only require one key to program. if you need a new bypass a pkall would be your cheapest solution or the fortin honda-sl3Ted

i was thinking about those as well as XK05, and TBXKEY

as mentioned the pkall is the cheapest to buy of them all.

the xk05 you will need to have it flashed and whatnot. pkall will work out of the box
