Guy brought in this vehicle with UltaStart 12XX I think (didn't look at the model, just remember the remote). I opened up the dash looking to see if there was 2nd Starter wire (Blue) that some of the vehicles have, but I couldn't see one since the wire harness was barely accessible. The installer used T-Taps for the 12V+, Ign, Acc and Starter. I didn't have much time to look into it before the guy had to leave, but he is coming back on Friday and I was hoping to have something more to look into other than verifying all of the original connections. I'm wondering if the T-Taps are the problem when it is really cold. I can't believe people use those things.
Thanks for any help.

I would definately remove those T-taps from the heavy gauge remote starter wires and wire them correctly. Then go from there.

remove the ttaps for sure, and solder that.
other than that make sure all ignitions/accs are powered and reprogram the tach.

I have that same vehicle as a personal vehicle and it was -34 this morning and started no problem. One thing to look for when it fails is if the immobilizer light is on when it fails. Otherwise look at the t-taps as the others suggested.

Or increase the engine revs slightly whilst programming, obviously agree with the soldering comments.
T taps = Devil's spawn.
