Hello, i was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have a 2000 chevy silverado and was looking into alarms for it. i found a couple that i like and than say the stardrive keyless alarm. i like the idea of having the key in the pocket and pushing the button to start but i would really like to keep the stock key just in case the button starts and stuff. my big thing is im not sue how good of an alarm it is and would like to go with a reputable company. is there any way to turn a autopage or viper alarm into a full keyless system or does anyone know how good the stardirve system is? thanks!

I wouldn't be worried about the defect. There are defects in ALL manufacturing processes (especially when the manufacturing process is in China). This is why companies offer warranties and stand behind their products.
The fact that the guy had to use a second Email address and purchase a part that FIXED his problem would be enough for me to steer clear of that product.

True but the other product I put up is from a different manufacturer. Just wondering if anyone has herd about them or my other question is if there is a wy to add a keyless function to a viper or Clifford alarm
