hi there, i just curious here about how to secure a walled setup in a car? like how do you secure the wall to the actual car. i was thinking about future builds and that was one of the question that arose in my head.

I usually glue stringers to the wall and then screw the amp board to the stringers. The amps and all other items get screwed to the amp board. I like to make sure the amp board has a solid footing so that the stringers are not supporting the weight of the board, rather just keeping it from tipping over.

I think he is talking about a wall including multiple large woofers, not just some amps.

The seat belt bolt holes are usually very solid, of course the belts won't be in use.

Snug fit is also good.

Start by completely removing the interior of the car down to the metal, and then you can either weld or bolt the necessary mounts to the body and roof of the car. You'll also then be able to apply sound treatments to the bare metal before you reinstall carpet, etc.

so just a tight fit, and bolting it to the seatbelt brackets works poretty well?
