I need help. I had a GM factory alarm installed but Domelight suppervision was an option(needs relay as stated in guide) Well I wired up the relay and tapped the wires. But the domelight will not come on when the alarm is disarmed. I can hear the relay time out after I disarm (30sec). I have negitive door switches. I wired it up just like the guide said. 87-negative 85 12v fused 30 negitive door trigger, 86 alarm illminated output Neg 200mA, 87a none. I used the wires coming out of the main unit, could this be it? I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Please help! Thanks!

what kind of car? I'm assuming Malibu, but what year?
Did you connect 30 to the door trigger input right at the alarm brain?   If so, that may be your problem. The door triggers probably have diodes on them and the current can't flow backwards. Everything else seems fine. Going to a door pin will probably fix the problem.
