Nevermind I'll figure it out. Thanks for the info on the signal sensing circuit. Was not aware of that. You learn something new everyday.

there is not really much to figure out. Connect the Yellow wire of the LOC to a constant 12volt wire. Ground the LOCs black wire, ground = chassis of the vehicle, or the ground wire of the radio.   The purpose of the blue wire of the LOC is to provide 12volts to the amplifiers remote wire when the circuit inside sees audio on the speaker wires of the device. The circuit will keep the amp on up to a minute after the radio is turned off. So if you ever decide to connect it this way, do not freak out if the amp does not instantly turn off when the radio is turned off.

O.K. I do have it hooked up like this but the amp light doesn't come on nor does the light on the LOC . Although the Amp does read 12v with DVM.   Thanks again I'll check it out.

Did you connect the speaker input wires of the LOC to the speaker wires of the deck?  Did you turn the radio on and turn the volume up?

Yes I did.   I Just connected the 4 wires from the LOC to the rear speaker wires from the harness. I didn't hardwire them if that's what you might mean.   and yes I turned it up. and Nothing. The front ones obiliviously worked, but not the rear subwoofer.      You know, I'll go and make sure everything is properly connected. I know it is , but will check just for the sake of it. When he gets home. Which is soon.
