no sound after aftermarket deck

the car is a 1994 BMW 320i (3 series)

the deck is a pioneer MVH-P8200

i bought a wiring harness for a 1990 and up 3 series and antenna adapter

i wired the harness to the deck harness and plugged it in like that, i didnt connect the antenna adapter yet, to test it out i plug in the itouch through the usb it came up on the deck and i could see it was playing however no sound. i did have the parking brake wire (light green) connected to the remote coming out of the aftermarket deck. could this have been the problem? also on the wiring harness that plugs into the factory harness had a blue remote wire, i didnt have that connected to the remote from the deck. mainly cause i'm assuming it didnt need to be connected. and last thing is that the ground coming from the deck had a U clip to be connected with a bolt but i just connected it to the ground on the wiring harness and didnt bolt it down?

so i am getting power and its turing on but no sound. did i hook up something wrong or do i need to go by a relay or something? i'm lost!?!?!
