Do you guys prefer to wrap keys or use key box/coffins?

I just installed in an 05 cobalt and had to wrap a key because a key box woul;d not work?

I always thought key boxes were better than an old fashioned wrap, I really never trusted manually wrapped keys. But i may be changing my mind now.

I also had an older chrysler mini van a couple years ago and  that did the same thing.

Oh, and yes i tried to use a key replacement module and that didn't work either.

If I have to use a key in an install I always wrap and use a relay.

I've always used data bypasses when its an option and have always had better luck than any instance using a key. A PKUMUX works awesome on cobalts and save you from worrying about the relays too
