Hi Jeff,thank you for taking the time to once again help out.You are right i totally forgot to mention about the eq's ouputs so here they are:Front ouput L/R,Rear ouput L/R and Subwoofer ouput.From here i would like to connect it to a active crossover (model Sony XEC1000/S) that has inputs for subwoofer,front and rear.Sony's outputs are as follows:Subwoofer,mid. and high for REAR,for FRONT it has mid. and high again.jeff i will be using 4 apliffiers (3 NAK's and one Rockford Fosgate).I would like each amp to run separates.I have a NAK 200W x1 for the sub,2 Nak's each dellivering 50Wx2 for my 10cm/4" midrange and the second Nak again at 50Wx2 for my second set of midrange of 13cm/5.25".The third amp will run my tweeters (Rockford Fosgate) at 35Wx2.I hope i mentioned everything considering that so many other car stereo guys need your help just as much,thanks a million Jeff.

WOW , you have alot of amps and speakers.... do you have any rear speakers or not ?? From what you have listed here's what I think you should do for ease of installation and ease of control of the fading and balance controls:

  • Nak head unit's rear output to the PPI main input and also do not wire the subwoofer RCA from the Nak to anything other wise you won't have control of it through the PPI EQ.
  • From the PPI EQ out put wire the following on the Sony crossover :
      • PPI EQ FRONT output -----> Sony XEC 1000 FRONT input
      • PPI EQ REAR output -----> Sony XEC 1000 REAR input
      • PPI EQ SUBWOOFER  output -----> Sony XEC 1000 SUBWOOFER input
  • Then from the Sony XEC 1000 you will go the respective amps that you want. From what you had listed above it will go like this ( IF the two set of speakers are infact front sdpeakers then you will have to have the balance in the middle otherwise you will loose one set of speakers if faded from front to rear with this set up . If the one set is for rears, then this will not affect anything )
      • Sony XEC 1000 SUBWOOFER output -------> Nak 200 amp
      • Sony XEC 1000 FRONT MID output -------> Nak 50 amp to power 5 1/4  " speakers
      • Sony XEC 1000 REAR MID output --------> Nak 50 amp to power 4 " speakers
      • Sony XEC 1000 FRONT HIGH output -----> Rockford amp to power tweeters

I hope this is what kind of explaination you wanted and if not please post your questions and good luck.
