What's up everyone?! I am new to this site and I've been reading and reading before I finally bought my viper 5901 and DB-all bypass. I got everything installed except for the RFLCHGM transponder chip. I am ran into a problem installing that. The instructions mention putting the transponder up to the ignition and "power-up the ignition wire with a jumper wire". What does that mean? Or am I reading to much into it and I just need to put it up there. I haven't done it yet because I didn't want anything to mess it up if I do it wrong.
My second problem is the remote start. I hit the button to start it and I get the "remote start error" on my remote. Is this because I don"t have the transpoder hooked up or is it something else? I followed these instructions this guy used for his silverado but mine just wont start. It locks and unlocks but no remote start.
I would appreciate any help I could get on this.

Step 1: Open car door.
Step 2: Cycle ignition key ON then OFF. Do the next step within 10 seconds.
Step 3: Press and hold valet switch until LED flashes 3 times (siren chirps 3 times), then release.
Step 4: Press and release valet switch once then press and hold. Siren chirps once.
Step 5: While still holding the valet switch, press UNLOCK button of transmitter. Siren chirps 2 times.
Step 6: Release valet switch. Cycle ignition key ON then OFF.
make sure you press the valet button once, then press it and hold it in step 4. .

I called the directed electronic people (18003617271) and they said I have to have the door trigger connected for me to enter the programming mode. First thing, the plug is all the way on my driver door and when I hooked it up, it still didnt work. I dont want to quit and go to a pro because I came this far but thats what it is looking like.

Did you hook up the DBALL D2D or wire to wire? The DBALL does the door trigger for you. If its hooked up D2D it should be working, if your using wire to wire connect the green (-) door trigger from the 5901 to the GREEN / WHITE (-) door status output on the DBALL.

have you programmed it for automatic transmission?

once you do, and program the DB-ALL you can test it by (without the RFLCHGM plugged in)  putting the key up to the IGn and remote starting it.... it it starts fine then all is good and you only need to program the RFLCHGM .... you can do this by starting the vehicle with the key, then right away removing the key, holding the chip of the RFLCHGM  up to the IGN and remote starting it... if it starts and stays running the chip is programmed.... then just plug it into the DB-ALL and put the ring/wraps around the IGN and finish up....
