I installed a pioneer avh-p5000dvd, which only has 2 sets of RCAs and the output signal is 4V. However, I have an Eclipse XA-4000 Class D amp (4ch for my Focal separates in doors) and a JL 500/1 Class D amp for my JL10W7 and 1 farad cap.
My dilemma is this: The sound doesn't seem nearly as clear and loud at 80% volume on the Pioneer HU. I previously had an 8V Eclipse HU w/3 sets of RCAs. I have read the past topics about line drivers and am wondering if that is the BEST solution to this problem. I do not have any audible "Hissing".
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Loud Subwoofers only, do not make a quality car audio system, especially when they are worth more than your "car"

Well, in my experience Pioneer simply does not sound as good as Eclipse or Alpine.  The AVH-5000 has four line outs, a stereo set for front and a stereo set for either rear or subwoofer.  I don't remember if the required cable comes with the unit or if you have to order it separately.  In order to get multi channel output from those head units they are designed to be used with a Pioneer DEQ-P8000.
