There is and inline toggle switch that must be pluged in and turned to the on position, did u do this?

at first i actually cut the switched off and connected the two wires together, the same thing the switch does when its in the on position and then i connected the switch back and put it in the on position and still got the same results.

I cut and twist my toggle wires together too. Stops customers from complaining about it not working just to have them bring it in and have me flip a switch.
